B. Ravi Kumar is a business builder and innovative financial thinker. He brings not only strong financial credentials to Svam International, but also expertise in the areas of management consultancy, business modelling, techniques for providing back-office support for accounting and generating MIS. Ravi has demonstrated extensive leadership and profit-generating proficiency in managing the financial operations in India of Svam International.
Svam engaged the services of Ravi in 2008 with his 25 years of diverse experience in Accounting, Controls, Transaction processing, Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, MIS, Tax & Treasury, Transfer Pricing, Risk Management, Systems, Commercial, Legal & Regulatory, Liaison, and Investor Relations. In the role of the Chief Financial Officer at North Shore Technologies Pvt. Ltd., the Indian wing of Svam International, his core competencies and deliverables include:
 Developing strong internal control environment ;
Streamlining financial systems and Processes.
Re-engineering of Business processes with a view to improve profitability / cash in the business
Guiding / establishing business plans and setting up of monitoring tools.
Tax Planning & Tax Management.
Being a Standing Advisor on all financial matters and as a sounding board to the CEO.
In 2004, Ravi founded a Chartered Accountancy firm, to provide management consultancy, focussing on helping small and mid sized companies, without the need to have a full time CFO, in streamlining their accounting systems & controls. This CA firm also provided consultancy services to streamline financial business processes of a leading marketing company in India. The firm was involved in the trouble-free de-merger of a known giant and provided support to them in the due diligence. The firm also undertook financial due diligence of Target companies for M&A.
In addition, he served in several different capacities in numerous business units like the Eicher Group of Companies, Eternit Everest Limited, a Belgian Multinational and with Bausch & Lomb India Limited, a US Multinational, as their General Manager Finance & Regulatory Affairs.
As a key member of the senior management team, he developed and executed the strategy that returned the Group to profitability.
